We have over 150 employees at our Central Office, and every one of them has an important part to play in making sure our Campsite Network feel supported, and our members feel heard.

We welcome new talent, so if you want to work for an organisation that prides itself on its friendly culture, then why not take a look at our current opportunities.

Apprenticeships

We are proud to support the Apprenticeship Programme as a key part of The Club’s strategy for growing the talent and skills of our workforce. We currently have an Apprentice in our Finance Team completing an Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Level 2.

Learning and Development Opportunities

Employees follow a continuous cycle of learning and development. This starts with a core suite of mandatory e-learning that all employees complete every year. It is combined with a tailored plan to target individual and department specific training needs. Reviewing and investing in training is a valuable part of The Club’s people strategy.

Recruitment Process

When you apply for one of our vacancies, please ensure you read the job description and the person specification. Then click on the vacancy and you will be asked to complete our short application form and to upload an up-to-date CV.

We are committed to an inclusive and accessible recruitment process. To support our commitment, when submitting your CV, please remove your name and only provide your initials on your CV. When you complete our application form, this is where you will provide your personal details, and these will not be shared with the hiring managers until after the selection process has been completed. Remember to remove your address and other data that can identify you e.g. a photo, date of birth or your LinkedIn profile from your CV. Ensure your CV has your skills and abilities, work experience and career history, together with qualifications and training noted. Try to keep your CV two pages long.

To complete our short application form, you will need your own email address, your personal details as we collect equal opportunities and diversity information. We embrace positive attitudes, behaviours and cultures towards disability. If you have a disability and require reasonable adjustments for your interview and the workplace, please add this to the application form, so we can support you the best way possible. Any applicant who has a disability and meets the essential criteria of the person specification from the job description, will be guaranteed an interview or an assessment.

Once you have completed your application form and uploaded your CV, you will receive an email from our recruitment portal confirming receipt of your application and outlining the next steps. Please ensure you check your junk email box.

If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview. The interview may have two stages depending on the role you are applying for. The first stage interview will either be remotely on a Microsoft Teams video call or be held in person at our Central Office, Greenfields House in Coventry.

If the role involves a second stage interview, this will be in person at our Central Office, Greenfields House in Coventry.

The interview(s) will be competency based. This means that you will be asked a series of behavioural and competency based interview questions to assess your suitability for the role.

A good way to prepare for your interview is to practice using the STAR method. It stands for Situation, Task, Action and Results:

  • Situation: Describe a situation, set the scene and give some background information;
  • Task: Then outline the task or the goal you were working toward;
  • Action: Explain the action you took to complete the task, what specific steps did you do to resolve the situation;
  • Result: What was the outcome and the result of your action, what did you achieve and what did you learn.

Your answers should be clear and well structured, highlighting your abilities and the value that you can bring to the role.

During the interview, we will confirm when you hear from us as we may have many candidates to interview. We will always confirm the outcome of your interview in writing.

If you are unsuccessful, you can request feedback and one of the interviewers will contact you to go through the feedback.

However, if you are successful, we will contact you by phone to offer you the role. This will be subject to satisfactory references. We will send your offer of appointment and employment contract terms and conditions electronically, and we will write to your referees; one should be your current or most recent employer. You will also be expected to go through a Right to Work check, which can be completed digitally.

Finally, you will receive a link to our onboarding portal where there is key information for you before you start, and your line manager will call you to welcome you to The Club.
